I’ve just heard that Joaquin (read Wa-keen) decided to end his acting career after wrapping the shooting for his latest flick, “Two lovers”. He will probably go with music, apparently, as he discovered a crush on it due to his flick, “walk the line”.
I think this is awful, awful, awful. He’s such a gifted actor! However he’s a truly talented singer too. 
I’ve been an avid Oscar watcher for like ten years… And and at some point the Oscars started to decline… Until they reached the ultimate drop, when they denied Wa-keen his Oscar twice… Wa-keen should’ve won the Oscar for Gladiator… And as they denied him then, they shouldn’t've made the same mistake with “Walk the line”. A terrible, terrible mistake. It was such a lovely movie and Wa-keen (apparently) played the role of a lifetime. They instead granted the Oscar to his co-star, Reese Whitherspoon. And in spite of the good role she made in that movie, I just don’t see her as Oscar material. And don’t get me wrong… Philip Seymour Hoffman was truly good in Capote, but Joaquin was absolutely stunning in “Walk the line”!
And that was the time I promised myself I’d never watch the Oscars again. It all got so low… Thank goodness they eventually granted Russell Crowe the Oscar, after teasing him for too long. Where oh where are the times of American Beauty, when everybody got what they deserved? Times long gone…
You’ll be truly missed on the screen, Wa-keen! Such an amazing actor…
So you can find Wa-keen calling it a day here (quite weird, if you’ll ask me, for both him and the reporter… Maybe if the reporter wouldn’t've grabbed his arm, what’s up with that anyway, and wouldn’t've said “you’re kidding”, oh I don’t know).
