Beautifully said, I definitely like what you had to say about cravings that just are. As long as you can see the mechanism in which they work, they really have no bearing in life as a stranglehold for the body. An addiction or a cravings source is thought, thought in which is not truth, something that only survives given that the mind believes itself to be the body. Also given that the craving comes from thought and knowing that thought in general is based on ignorance and second hand information, then why follow such a silly craving if memory dictates the outcome of it, the body suffers.

hmm...I also found the passage about being egoistic particularly interesting as it does make sense in certain context. I understand where its coming from but ego is a general label that is attached to the body-mind in which case, has boundary. You are never fully selfless until concept vanishes completely which is the bodies nature, to be attached to concepts and ideas which is a wonderful process. altruism is the opposite of ego but they do merge into the same as dualism doesn't actually exist, so disregarding the body-minds ego (which is an illusion to begin with) there is no ego and there is no altruism, but they very much do involve the Absolute, because by focusing on I, (not the individual I, but True Nature) does it become selfless, and that's what makes it so beautiful.

I thought it was very well put in regards wants and needs, we all believe there is something that needs to be done to ensure ourselves of something. What it comes down to is all needs are really wants, and all wants are illusion. The only reason they exist is for the bodies belief of safety and luxury.

Here is a couple of quotes in which I just recently passed over in a book I've been reading for class by Meister Eckhart.

"Whoever desires to be given everything, must first give everything away."
"Furthermore, we should keep all things only as if they had been merely lent and not given to us, without any sense of possessiveness, whether it be our body or soul, our senses, faculties, worldly goods or honour, friends, relations, house or home or anything whatsoever."

I know i don't usually do quotes but who knows what you might get out of them, maybe something that may suit you or allow you to see something within yourself. This body merely expounds the thought that is, but holds no attachment to it.

Btw if ever you wanted to know what books I had read up until this point I could suggest, but I won't tell you unless you feel you want to read them, like you said sometimes its best to keep it nice and easy. =) Books only lead to bigger concepts that are likely to replace the smaller concepts which doesn't do anything productive except purify the pre ignorance. Even then ignorance is still there and will go on its own accord when the time is perfect. As long as you abide in the I Am all will be revealed!

Thanks for the thoughts. :)
