Quotes of the day

Today I’ve got two quotes I’ve been thinking about lately… I’ve posted one before, in “Words”, but it really means a lot so I’ll post it again. Here are the quotes of the day:

“There are tones of voice that mean more than words.” – Robert Lee Frost

“He speaks and the sound of His voice is so sweet the birds hush their singing.” – Elvis Presley – In the garden

Now I’ve been thinking and I’m gonna start working on my voice. You have no idea how much your voice can do. So try and stop yellin’  and usin’ high tones for a while and you’ll see what happens. :D

And speaking of experiments, I wonder if some people around me will keep on using high tones if I manage to speak to them on a soft voice all the time. It is to be heard. For starters I think I’ll just whisper for about two hours a day and say I’ve got laryngitis or something, even if that’s supposed to sound the opposite of what I’m gonna try. :P

That’s a great idea, I agree that communication absolutely has an impact of the atmosphere. If someone is speaking in a peaceful tone, it radiates to others just as some may radiate peace out of themselves and it seems to pervade everything that they come into contact with.

I can’t wait to see what you find out from this, always observing the self in a loving manner to get at the root of “Who Am I?” It seems whether we are aware of this question or not that the “I” is always trying to remember itself.

Btw, thank you for your comment, I appreciate you so much. I’ve (individual) been reading a lot lately (lol… reading is like my second nature now, its weird, I use to hate reading) about awareness and it gave me some really good ideas on topics I could come up with. Your idea however is great and I think I have sufficient enough knowledge to do a post on that. Inner peace is definitely something that people need to hear about, although it isn’t something that will seem easy because it has to do with breaking down what one believes to be their beliefs, concepts, habits, and so on. It’s separating the “me” and the “my” from the “I” in the Who Am I? You’ve also kind of brushed the tip of it throughout your posts on perceptions and state of minds! <3

I think the topics I’ve planned to do are:
    Separating Me and I
    Meditation and Inner Peace
    Selfishness and Selflessness

They sound like a lot of fun. :] Thanks for sticking with me though!

Sorry, Nick, I’m havin’ a pretty rough night, but I just wanted to thank you for your comment, which is beautiful, and say that I can’t wait to read your future posts. May you have a good writing streak.
