Our first quote comes from Pussy in the Sopranos. It’s paraphrased, as I don’t remember it well and can’t be bothered to search for it, and it comes in liaison with my earlier post on the hug.
Here’s what Pussy used to say, paraphrasing: “Can it get you killed? Can it get you jailed? Can you lose an arm for it? Well if you can’t then why the F**K are you still fearing it and obsessing about it? WTF?”
This quote has been with me for ages. It’s a quote I always remember when I obsess on or get scared of totally stupid things. And I always realize, of course, just how silly I am.
Our second quote comes from the brill Britton Kowalk:
“Have you ever noticed that if someone you’re interested in isn’t interested in you, you see nothing but their good qualities?”
However you also get that sometimes when they’re actually interested in you. I’m guessing it’s the mind’s way of helping you mate. Pink goggles and blindness. LOL Anyhew a great fact to think about.
