Mmmmmm…

I thought I’d add them one by one, in different texts, but I can’t help it anymore. I am in love.

What love is it? It’s a musky kind of love… Lush… Dark… Sufficient… Powerfully embracing… Like a winter morning spent in bed… And a breakfast at Tiffany’s…

It’s Versace Crystal Noir.

I’ve sworn this autumn would be for the Total Energy range from the Body Shop, but, but…

Versace Crystal Noir is a very strong perfume, which should be used when the temperature is low (obviously to spice things up lol) and/or in the evening. Gardenia, amber and musk sending you to a very, very cozy place.

I cannot help using it again and again and again. It’s like when you fall in love. There can be other beautiful “perfumes” passing by, but all you want is that perfume… The Versace Crystal Noir. It’s simply delicious.

As for “delicious”… Great thanks to the lady who sprayed some of the new DKNY Delicious on me, at the store. IT SHUX. Bleurgh.

As said, I cannot help it… Today I’m dreaming of perfumes. While embraced by the VCN, I dream of Salvador Dali’s Laguna. Haven’t sensed it in years now. MmmmM…  That “warm floral fragrance of the sea shore. You can clearly feel the warmth of the southern parts and intensive aroma of exotic flowers. The top notes are fresh and fruity: mandarin, grapefruit, peach, and apricot. The heart is created of jasmine, rosewood, iris and lily of the valley. The base is composed of tonka, cedar wood, patchouli and vanilla.” Mmmmmhm… Times long gone, in the valley of non-sense. On the sea shore of me, myself and I. Where horses run free and there are orchids blooming everywhere… Meow!

What else, what else?

Going back to the wonderful Eau Dynamisante from Clarins… Mmmmm. I’m saving that for Christmas time. Unfortunately they discontinued the oil from the range. :( Shame, shame, shame… “Top notes are orange, coriander, caraway and amalfi lemon; middle notes are rosemary, carnation and cardamom; base note: patchouli.”

And turning around just so I could feel my beautiful Joop once more… The best thing I’ve ever smelled. Don’t really know why, but on particular types of skin it does smell like a battle between evil and good. A most delicious battle.

“A very sensual oriental fragrance with fresh citrus opening of mandarin, lemon, bergamot and orange blossom. The floral heart is very warm and balmy, revealing jasmine, lily of the valley, heliotrope and cinnamon. The exotic base introduces sweet and woodsy notes of vanilla, Tonka bean, patchouli and sandalwood. The fragrance was created by Michel Almairac in 1989.”

Now this is the scent I’m going to love for the rest of my life. I’ve been searching for it for years and, ever since I found it, it never went missing from the head quarters. Smelled the other Joops, the new electric one seems ok, but the women fragrances just don’t cut it. The simple homme Joop! fragrance is number one on my list and it will stay there for good… So, monsieur Michel Almairac, I don’t know how you managed to pull this off, but… THANK YOU!

My white musk fragrance now seems a summer dream. Probably won’t be using it again until next summer… But… Well… Well thank you for a lovely summer, White Musk. And thank you for a lovely summer, Liberte.

Last but not least, a special mention and thank you to Old Spice. ;) MmmmMm cinnamon… Wish we could still find it around here.

Done, for now… Will just leave y’all to it and go back to my Versace… Mmmmhm. Mmmmmmroar.
