Today I’ve been to the movies and I am yet again pissed off.
What is it with cinemas these days? I mean, I don’t know what it’s like in other countries, but in mine… Cinemas are starting to drive me cuckoo. I mean…
If you go on weekend afternoons you run into people with children. Children who scream and children who can’t read. Parents who read (well we use subtitles) the whole flick to their kid. I mean… Take your bloody kid to a dubbed flick. It would also be a good idea if cinemas invested in some earphones, at least for the kids movies. And if your kids aren’t old enough so they could actually sit still, watch the movie at home… I mean, what the heck. Seriously. If you can help it, help it. :-/
Today I even heard one of those parents reading to their kid settling down the young’un before the movie as in “Shhhh… You’re not supposed to speak in the theater. Keep quiet.” And then they started to read everything to the kid so had to switch rows.
So… When? When are you supposed to go to the movies? WTH is up with people these days? If you go on weekends noons you run into parents with kids playing hoo-hah all over the place. If you go on weekends evenings or the famous Orange Wednesdays, you run into arseholes with cellphones yelling: I’m at the movies, MA (and other stuff like that) ! And if you somehow manage to go during the week before five pm, there are times they won’t even show the movie because there aren’t enough people in the theater. WTH are you doing with the movie? What’s one more show going to do to it?
Well maybe I’m wrong, but I swear I have no idea when I’m supposed to go to the cinema if I’d just like a little peace and quiet with my gorgeous faces on the big screen.
So… A sincere…
………… From my pal, Jean Luc.
I wish to see a Jim Carrey movie. Where is he? A good one though, not crap like Grinch and stuff like that. Shikakah…
I also still need to see Night at the museum II. It would be about time.
So getting back to this beautiful, cough, day… I went to the mall with some pals and decided that if there was any movie I’d really like to see on, I’d just go and see it.
And I noticed Joaquin Phoenix’ last flick was on. Technically speaking his last last flick. LOL Well, a shame anyway, as I previously mentioned. But I couldn’t go to see it as I was just a tad late and they have this new rule that you can’t go in later than 10 minutes before the show starts so… Anyway… I really wanted to see “Two lovers” as Joaquin will be missed. Guess I’ll just have to leave it for some other time.
So I went to see G-Force 3D, the new sensation. It’s not bad. Not bad at all. Not as good as the Chipmunks though.
Also would have preferred to see Final Destination, but it didn’t premiere here just yet. Next week definitely seeing it though.
On another note, I can’t wait for them to bring the IMAX thing here. Never seen a movie that way and am curious what it’s like.
And here I end another experience with the movies. I so miss the 90′s. The made such good movies then. And I think people were better too. :-/

F***uck you and your pic. Disgratious.
Cocalaire.
