Thoughts of the day

The natural condition of the human being is lying down (that’s how we come, what we have to do every day at some point, and how we go). The paradox is that, in order for them to survive, the most important war to win is the one against themselves… And the first battle is getting up.

Another important paradox is the one between good and evil. The fight between two opposites goes on in all of us and in almost everything in the world. There are two opposites in everything, whether it’s good and evil, yin and yang, life and death. And I do believe and hope that somehow, someway, we’re to understand that, eventually, there has to be harmony, mostly because everything is relative (aka what for one is total evil, for someone else is the greatest good).

The paradox is: The opposite things shouldn’t fight against each other. Neither of them will go away, neither are clear on their own and they’re all relative.

(hope I used “paradox” correctly, lol)

    Lizzy!

You know you’re going to get something out of me on this, because well… this personality just loves this stuff i guess.

The opposition will always exist in terms of the appearance of duality, and as long as subjectivity is there (the belief that we’re separate in some way and that our way is right) there can be nothing but opposition, because that is the nature of subjectiveness or humaness… (or as you say it all is relative)

What has been haunting me politely lately is that not only is my own story false, but that everyone elses story is also false, we all have wrong view, so if we all have the misunderstanding of what truth there is… then all that’s left is right view to see… Do i know what right view looks, tastes, is? I don’t know other than that what we are is IT. Again that is a view and that misses the mark but maybe as a pointer we can investigate it by being aware that it is there and that all of our relative (or subjective beliefs) are only manifestations of the truth but are not it.

Then we are back to the root of it aren’t we the very first thing we established together, that everything IS.

The appearance that things are separate only seems to be an appearance a subjective view of what one “sees”, just data, even the human body itself is 99% empty space yet it appears to be a body, how magnificent is that.

I like to look at it as contrast instead of duality. There’s no duality: it’s all part of All that Is, really. My experience is that things fall into place when we stop fighting. Great blog. Please pay me a visit: http://www.bluamaryllis.wordpress.com.

@Nick I don’t know… Just had a minor slip. I’m going back to mind distraction which can be even more great if you turn it into goal pursuing.

Ha ! And yes, I knew you’d answer. :P LOLO :) Well kinda hoped you would too. :D

@wifsie Thanks for the comment. Your blog seems cool, will read. :D
As for the contrast… Don’t know what to say, but in regard to what goes through my mind now… I think it can be looked at in lots of ways… LOL And no particular way is the RIGHT one. I don’t know… For me it’s hard to accept both forces as part of “what is”. I speak in favor of harmony, yet I fail whenever I try to pull away from the trees so I can see the forest.
