This post will have two versions, one in English and one in Romanian. LOL
Y’all don’t wanna know what prize I’m competing for, but, as Naicu already said it… It’s a golden testicle . PMSL. There are also silver and bronze versions. Five nominees… And three judges. LOL Anyway… For all of you who don’t have a peculiar sense of humour, pretend you didn’t read what I just said.
Anyway… Here’s why I read Naicu.ro :
Once upon a time there was this guy called Nicu. We’ve been classmates ever since we were first graders. We didn’t hit it off from the beginning, mostly because I was a total biatch back then, but, eventually, sometime in highschool, if I remember well, we became best friends. If I remember correctly, we both said we were best friends. And, at some point in time, he changed his name to Naicu.
Naicu was a great guy and still is on so many counts. We used to speak on the phone for hours and hours, about our lives and Michael Madsen. LOL Til this day he’s the only person to have killed me by phone with his impression of Madsen’s voice. If I recall it right, at some point I was on speed dial on his phone and I knew his number by heart… Still do. And I also know his cell number by heart, mostly because he insisted on getting a very easy number and say it out loud once. LOL
We did spend a lot of time together and he’s definitely one of the people I’ve clicked with best.
At some point our best friend thing turned into simple friendship and I won’t give the reasons for which such thing happened. I don’t know them exactly either, but one can suspect.
Anyway… Through the years, Naicu changed a lot and so have I. However his blog mostly conserves what I once knew as my best friend and that’s one of the reasons for which I read it. It’s a part of him that I care very much about and I’m glad he’s letting it show on his blog.
The other reasons are more than simple… Naicu’s very smart and very funny. I dig what he writes.
He’s also one of the few people who call me at 12.00 am on my birthday to wish me all the best, in his own special way. LOL
I don’t have many words to say about this and, as usual, I don’t expect to win the award I’ve been nominated for. However that really doesn’t matter. Anyone who’s had the pleasure of knowing Naicu by heart, at some point in their lives, has already won enough. And so have the people who experience the pleasure of reading his blog and enjoying his presence.
So, all the best to you, “Baicu”… And, well, long live your blog !
