February 9, 2011As previously said, I always hear songs in my head, mostly Elvis (after all he pretty much had songs for most emotions or thoughts someone could have), so here’s song of the day (the one I woke up hearin’ – not Elvis this time though):
Speaking of which… I love country music. I do. Not all of it, but lots of songs, especially Tracy Lawrence songs. Here are three other songs I really like (not Tracy’s): Martina McBride – I just call you mine, Sarah Buxton – Space and Reba McEntire – Consider me gone .
Also… Two nights ago I heard an Elvis song… I jus’ melt when he says “along the way” at 1.53. Awwwwwwwwww.

January 31, 2011Here’s a gorgeous sad song. I haven’t felt that kind of sadness in ages, but the song is really amazing and I thought the world of it at one point in my life.
I can’t find a decent translation of the song anywhere and online translators don’t do it justice. I don’t speak Spanish, but… It’s about a girl who encountered a huge amount of pain and says: I don’t have springs anymore, the flowers are gone and the butterflies die from the cold. Pretty much what I felt that time when “Winter came in March”.

January 31, 2011I’ve recently started to quote on the crazy doctor from Scrubs, using “my machines, mine, mine” for some of the things I hold dear, like perfume (as in MY PERFUME, MINE, MINE, MINE) or food. HAHA I am sure it will extend to other things as well. I love it !

Golden globes best/worst dressed

Best dressed was Eva Longoria, by far… In fact, that’s one of the best dresses I’ve ever seen and it perfectly frames her body as well.
Worst dressed… I don’t think I can choose between Anette Bening (+ what is with the hair???) and Gabourey Sidibe.
Special award goes to Helena Bonham Carter. Her dress and shoes pick pulled many critiques, but, as with Robert Downey Jr. a while ago, it’s so kitsch that it’s actually cool (from my point of view, naturally).
p.s. I only jotted what impressed me, but there were some other pretty and ugly dresses, also, as usual, some people who can basically wear anything (because they’re too sexy for their clothes, see Heidi Klum), and so on.

January 16, 2011WHY, OH, WHY DID THEY CANCEL “DIRTY SEXY MONEY”? WHY WOULD YOU CANCEL A SHOW LIKE THAT?
I mean… I know it was a soap opera (or at least it looked like one after a while), and no, I don’t like the genre… But this show, it was just…
SO GOOD ! Pretty much the best soap ever if I may say (even if I don’t like the genre, lol). The gorgeousness of the image, the amazing actors, the plots… GOD ! WHY WOULD YOU CANCEL IT? I can’t believe I only have two episodes left to watch.
Also… Being some sort of soap, I can imagine it could’ve gotten dull after a while, but… Two seasons? COME ON ! Should’ve been on for at least four. Can’t believe it’s over… Seriously can’t believe it…
